I love working with clients to create homes that are a pleasure to live in. I`ve been practicing architecture since 1987, and have focused on home design since 1994.  I especially enjoy addition and renovation projects, and right-sized new homes designed for superior energy efficiency and sustainability. I use the U.S. Department of Energy's Zero Energy Ready certification program as a baseline for energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and durability for my new home designs.  Each client and each home is an important one for me, not just a `small` project to fit in between larger commercial projects.

I use Chief Architect CAD software- the same software Sarah Susanka has endorsed- which allows me to design in three dimensions from the very beginning of our work together.  You will be able to see the views from one room to another, as well as what the exterior is like in three dimensions.
